餵奶和换尿片对我来说都不是大难题，因为由儿子出世到现在，每天已反反复复练习过无数次。最令我感到紧张的是替儿子洗澡，虽然已安装了婴儿沐浴网，但手抱着湿漉漉的婴孩，仍是会无比的紧张，生怕一不留神抱他跌落地上，又怕替他穿衣服的手法不够纯熟，会使他着凉生病。
这种紧张的状况大约于一个月左右便渐渐地消失，一来是因为熟能生巧，二来是儿子的身体长大了点，令我没有之前般担心。
在替儿子洗澡的时候，我会轻轻用水拍拍他的心口，凝望着他，跟他说说话，令儿子有安全感，不会惊慌，这也是一种母子间的沟通。儿子也会凝望着我，彷彿明白妈妈跟他说的话。
虽说母性是天生的，但没有人生下来便懂得如何照顾小孩子，都是一步一步，慢慢地学习，慢慢地摸索，然后便成为真正称职的母亲。
